What excitement last night ! We opened the parcel! And they were all perfect, even more attractive than in the photos!!!!! and I really liked the frames!!!!! The painting arrived safe and sound today at 3:30pm. I commend you on your packing - it took me 15 minutes to make my way through all of the bubble wrap to get to the final product, which was certainly worth the effort. The painting is as beautiful as I had expected and the frame and matte really highlight the image. Your description of the shipment must have been sufficient to satisfy the customs guys as, so far, there was nothing to pay when I received the shipment. Thank you for your assistance through this process. The painting is actually meant as a gift to our very good friends who have always admired our own Shanks, but now we might have to keep it and get them something else! We love it, thank you so much and also for your great packing.

The painting has arrived. My husband has opened it and in his words its "fine". Now for you and I this may be somewhat understated but for Barry this is the best compliment he can give. Early on in our marriage he told me on a night out that I looked fine - slightly miffed I challenged him - he told me to look up the definition of fine which I did - "excellent, of notable merit". Need I say more.
