One of the longest established independent galleries in Scotland.
Danny and Joan Ross opened the award-winning gallery in rural Aberdeenshire in 1987. They celebrate and promote Scottish art, showing the best emerging artists as well as established modern masters. Several hundred artists are represented by the gallery. All are carefully selected by Danny and Joan, who are always on hand and happy to discuss the work of any artist.
We are excited to present our new exhibition: 'A Tapestry of Colour by John Lowrie Morrison OBE (Jolomo) opens on Saturday 15 June and continues until Tuesday 9 July. The artist will be at the gallery for the opening on Saturday afternoon, 15 June.
Tolquhon Gallery runs regular Art Classes at Tolquhon Studio Workshop (Art on the Green) in Udny Green, a picturesque conservation village, 12 miles north of Aberdeen. The former Fleeman’s Shop on the village green has been transformed into an attractive, well equipped studio providing an ideal space for painting. When weather allows, classes also paint out of doors.
