One of the longest established independent galleries in Scotland.
Danny and Joan Ross opened the award-winning gallery in rural Aberdeenshire in 1987. They celebrate and promote Scottish art, showing the best emerging artists as well as established modern masters. Several hundred artists are represented by the gallery. All are carefully selected by Danny and Joan, who are always on hand and happy to discuss the work of any artist.
It's springtime — meteorologically speaking, at least — and it will soon be time for our annual Spring Exhibition. The exhibition will open on Saturday 16 March from 2 pm to 5 pm. It promises to be a wonderfully varied show and will be online as soon as possible. The exhibition will continue until Tuesday 30 April.
Please note that from now on we will be CLOSED on Sundays.
Tolquhon Gallery runs regular Art Classes at Tolquhon Studio Workshop (Art on the Green) in Udny Green, a picturesque conservation village, 12 miles north of Aberdeen. The former Fleeman’s Shop on the village green has been transformed into an attractive, well equipped studio providing an ideal space for painting. When weather allows, classes also paint out of doors.
