Danny and Joan Ross opened the award-winning gallery in rural Aberdeenshire in 1987. They celebrate and promote Scottish art, showing the best emerging artists as well as established modern masters. Several hundred artists are represented by the gallery. All are carefully selected by Danny and Joan, who are always on hand and happy to discuss the work of any artist.
Summer is here, restrictions are easing, and we are pleased to be able to have a gallery full of people again. The show is as varied and lively as ever including a number of artists, new to the gallery, whom we have only been able to show online until now. If you have the chance, we hope you can enjoy a visit — the garden is looking lovely despite deer doing their best to munch through some choice plants — but if your visit can only be virtual, that’s good too.
Our opening hours are currently 11 to 5 on Fridays and Saturdays, but you are welcome to visit at other times by appointment. Just give us a ring or send an email.
