Interest free credit for the purchase of works of art is available through the Own Art  scheme, offered in Scotland through Creative Scotland (formerly Scottish Arts Council). 

Own Art offers interest-free loans of £100 to £2,000 (Representative 0% APR) for the purchase of original contemporary visual art and crafts.  Loans are repaid in ten equal monthly instalments.  

You need a bank account that can handle direct debits, proof of identity with your address on it, 
and you also need to be over 18.  Further information is available from the gallery.
