Art Classes Timetable

	Tolquhon Studio Workshop Art Classes AUTUMN 2009
12 September to 10 December There are 10 classes in each course. Courses commence in the week beginning Saturday 12 September. There will be a 2 week break when Aberdeenshire schools are on holiday (12 - 23 October) so classes will end in the week beginning Saturday 28 November. Evening classes cost £105 for a ten week course. Daytime classes cost £130.

Pathway to Painting Morning		Pathway to Painting Afternoon
A relaxing and informal class for beginners and improvers wishing to develop their drawing and painting skills. Instruction will be provided on a range of subjects including technique, materials, colour mixing and composition. There will be a variety of themes and subject matter to work from each week and class members may use the water based media of their choice. Positive Painting Morning		Oil Painting for All Evening
A course for improvers wishing to develop their painting skills. Through a variety of studies, painting varied subject matter, different aspects of technique, composition, colour mixing, perspective etc will be covered. The course will be taken in water based media with class members using whatever they prefer - watercolour, acrylic or gouache. Tutor: DANNY ROSS		A class for all levels. Learn how to begin painting in oils or how to develop techniques. Sound working practices will be established and use of materials taught through a variety of studies from Still Life to Landscape. Composition, proportion, colour mixing etc will all be covered and the mysteries of this enjoyable medium unfolded. Tutor: CATRIONA MILLAR

Watercolour - Come All Ye Evening		Watercolour - Come All Ye Morning
An enjoyable course for all. The aim of the course is to establish sound working practices in watercolour painting but it is a flexible course and those interested in painting in gouache and other mediums are also very welcome. Instruction will be given in a range of techniques including use of materials, colour mixing and composition. Topics such as perspective and object drawing will be an integral part of practical instruction. Tutor: DONALD MURRAY		An enjoyable course for all.
