WILLIAM NEAL has had an eventful artistic career since graduating from Guildford School of Art in 1967. This highly regarded artist has recently been moving away from watercolours and has been working on very large acrylic paintings set to music so this, his second one man exhibition at Tolquhon, provides a rare and possibly final opportunity to see a collection of his watercolours.  The theme of peace, colour and harmony permeates all of his paintings, many of which depict the Galloway landscape by moonlight.  They give the eye of the beholder a deep sense of being there, a timeless and subtle watercolour experience.  His paintings are instantly recognisable and enthusiastically collected.
