One of the longest established independent galleries in Scotland.
Danny and Joan Ross opened the award-winning gallery in rural Aberdeenshire in 1987. They celebrate and promote Scottish art, showing the best emerging artists as well as established modern masters. Several hundred artists are represented by the gallery. All are carefully selected by Danny and Joan, who are always on hand and happy to discuss the work of any artist.
Currently in the gallery is Miscellany — a varied and changing collection of work by gallery artists. Including new paintings by Peter Goodfellow, Ian Mastin and Michael J.Ross. The exhibition runs until Tuesday 28 June.
We shall be closed for some days during May and June so please phone to check that we are open if you are planning to come a distance.
Tolquhon Gallery runs regular Art Classes at Tolquhon Studio Workshop (Art on the Green) in Udny Green, a picturesque conservation village, 12 miles north of Aberdeen. The former Fleeman’s Shop on the village green has been transformed into an attractive, well equipped studio providing an ideal space for painting. When weather allows, classes also paint out of doors.
